Bebé jurásico
El celacanto es una de las especies primitivas más antiguas de la Tierra (aparecieron en el planeta hace 360 millones de años), que hasta 1938 se creía extinto. Ahora, especialistas japoneses lograron que este se reprodujera en la isla indonesia de Sulawesi. La imagen de arriba corresponde a una cría de esta especie, de 31.5 cm de largo, un hecho inédito para la ciencia.

Excelente noticia sobre el celacanto, y que bueno que los cientificos estén reproduciendo a esta especie que se creía extinta desde hace millones de años.Estoy seguro que asi como el celacanto, hay otras especies que aun están por descubrirse, solo es cuestion de tiempo.
Deberian invertir mas tiempo y dinero en temas que realmente traigan algun beneficio para la humanidad no en un pez que debio haber muerto hace mucho tiempo…
